Back to work in 2012

Happy New Year everyone. Here's hoping for a victory Jan 7 for Sam Houston State Bearkats as they play for the National Championship and for more great fishing days with Charlie Ives in Aranasas Pass.

As for predictions for 2012, Perry will finally lose an election. Obama will be re-elected. Boehner will lose his leadership position by either losing the House or by being ousted by his teabag buddies. Bristol Palin will get pregnant again. Electricity, insurance, and college tuition will continue to rise and no one will do anything about it. Texas will continue to be the laughing stock of the nation when it comes to ethics.

And college football can't come soon enough.
