Today, the First Court of Appeals reversed the trial court judgment and ruled that the CLCWA did act in accordance with state law and had sufficient justification to condemn the golf course for the purpose of drainage and flood control.Also thanks to the Clear Lake Water Authority for keeping our rates low, providing a great service, and protecting Clear Lake. The Court of Appeals sent the case back to the lower court with instructions to the judge that he enter a judgment awarding the property to the CLCWA upon payment of the $5.1 million valuation determined by the jury.

Major ruling on the Clear Lake Golf Course
Congratulations to everyone who have fought to keep the home building industry from turning the Clear Lake Golf Course into cheap apartments. Yesterday the Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the Clear Lake Water Authority. In short:
