Hypocrites for Linda Harper-Benz donations

Talk about another bunch of hypocrites. Much like Joe Driver, State Representative Linda Harper-Brown (aka Linda Harper-Benz)  has raised an incredible amount of money for a State House races. In 2010 alone, Benz has raised almost $800,000 with over $500,000 raised from just 8 so called "conservative" individuals/organizations.

As with Joe Driver, these "conservatives" don't seem to have a problem with Harper-Benz driving under the influence:
State Rep Harper-Brown was provided a Mercedes, complete with State provided licenses plates, by a company receiving benefits from her votes in the Transportation Committee in Austin. How can anyone not think this smells to high heaven of bribery?
To make matters worse, she then claimed $13,000 in mileage for the use of her personal vehicle from the State for a vehicle she didn't own. And then she responded with a 3 minute youtube video blaming Nancy Pelosi! But all of this doesn't matter to conservatives. What matters is winning and money. Lots of it.

The Texas House Leadership fund that funds potential "leaders" gave $28,000. The Speaker of the House of Conservatives and gambling proponent, Joe Straus, has ponied up $330,000. Bob "The Babtist" Perry gave $70,000.  The Verizon "Good Government" Club also chipped in $2000. The top three moral giants provided half of the entire donations to Benz's campaign.

But then, what else is new? Linda Harper Brown will probably have her victory party at a Mercedes Benz dealership and claim it is a fine establishment based upon conservative principles.

And then blame Obama.
