Hypocrites for Joe Driver donations

Talk about a bunch of hypocrites. Over the last year State Representative Joe Driver has raised over $500,000 for his race against an relatively unknown opponent, much of it coming from so called "conservatives". These "conservatives" don't seem to have a problem with Joe Driver's problem of stealing from the taxpayers:
Driver charged tens of thousands of dollars to his campaign for travel and then charge the State (taxpayers) for the same travel and pocketed the money. In our world it is called stealing and is considered a felony. In Joe's world and mind, it is called a misunderstanding.
To claim this was just a misunderstanding is laughable. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this is called "double dipping" and if found to be true Driver should be charged with a felony since the Travis County DA's Office is investigating. But all of this doesn't matter to conservatives. What matters is winning and money. Lots of it.

The republican Party of Texas, those fire breathing conservatives, gave a total of $55,000. The Texas House Leadership fund that funds potential "leaders" gave $60,000. The Speaker of the House of Conservatives and gambling proponent, Joe Straus, has ponied up $152,000. The Conservative Republicans of Texas gave $15,000. Bob "The Babtist" Perry gave $20,000.

All in all, over $350,000 of his $500,000 came from just 8 so called "conservatives", aka "Hypocrites".

But then, what else is new? Joe Driver will probably have his victory party at a strip joint and claim it is a fine establishment based upon conservative principles.

Or a misunderstanding.
