Texas GOP Party of fiscal responsibility is broke.

Who could have seen this coming to the so-called party of "fiscal responsibility"? From the Houston Chronicle:

According to the latest filing with the Federal Election Commission, the [republican party of Texas] party had $264,863 cash on hand and $501,174 in debt. Munisteri said the party actually owed $605,835. The Republican National Committee recently paid a bill worth $134,000, he said; otherwise, the RPT would owe $739,000. "I have both a big debt, and we're losing money every month," he said.
In short, the RPT can't control their spending. This shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone living in the United States under the republican administration lead by George W. Bush. Much like the republican party of Texas, Bush left us with a $1.3 Trillion deficit. Under republican rule he nearly doubled our debt from $6 Trillion to $11 Trillion.

The republicans have also controlled Texas for ten years leaving us with a $18 Billion deficit in the upcoming legislation session. They can't even balance their own party's budget much less the state of Texas or the country.

And when finally out of power, they leave a mess that requires a decade to clean up, leaving, as they say "Our kids and our grand kids to pick up the tab". A tab the drunks of the republican party created and left us to pay for.

The republican party is morally and fiscally broke. Grab a *&^damn mop and help clean up your mess.
