Fix Our Economy. End Illegal Immigration.

This was one of the best signs of the immigration march in Houston on May 1 provided by the Service Employees International Union. There were at least 10,000 marching for common sense immigration reform and about 20 tea baggers and minute men in opposition. Their hatred blinds them of what we all want:

It is sad that the other side doesn't realize that the vast majority of Americans agree with the words of this sign. Instead they would rather divide us into white and non-white camps which does nothing to solve the problem.

We can solve the immigration problem if we take the hate out of the debate.

"End illegal immigration" is just semantics. The SEIU doesn't want to end the practice of unregulated mass immigration. They just want to legalize it. And voila, no illegal immigration!

To take a pet issue John cares about, it would be like saying "end illegal campaign spending" by simply removing all limits on campaign spending.

That doesn't make sense. SEIU does not benefit from illegal immigration. They fight for worker rights for service employees like janitors etc. That is not cheap labor compared to illegal labor.

Now, home builders like Bob perry do. And that is exactly what they want. Cheap, but legal, workers.

They could care less about who is here just as long as they get their cheap labor.

The last time we passed "comprehensive immigration reform", the Democrats rejected it as racist and then blocked the part about enforcing our borders, resulting in an amnesty with no end to the border problem. Why should we trust you guys this time?

"We can solve the immigration problem if we take the hate out of the debate."

Says the guy who wants to deport American citizens for disagreeing with him.

We do not need more laws just enforcement of existing laws.

That is why Arizona passed their State Law for their State Offices can not enforce Federal Law, but can renforce Arizona State Law.
