Leave it to Texas Governor Rick Perry, the macho guy who jogs with a gun duct taped to his groin just in case a willie coyote jumps out of the bushes to hump his poodle, to shoot business owners in the ass. From FalkenBlog:
Take it from Republican state Sen. Kevin Eltife. Or, even better, from Larry Temple, executive director of the Texas Workforce Commission.
Temple acknowledged Thursday to the Senate Committee on Economic Development that Texas' decision not to take $556 million in unemployment stimulus dollars directly led to higher taxes for business owners and more borrowing from the federal government to replenish the state's broke unemployment trust fund. Our manly, macho, cowboy Governor can shoot his mouth off about that damn federal government but in the end, business owners are going to pay for it. Perry can't seem to tone down his partisan attacks and try to work, like an elected official should, with the federal government in order to get out of this disastrous economic situation, or to save NASA jobs, or the jobs lost in Sealy.
Instead he shoots coyotes for fun, talks about secession (which Texas cannot do), and wears ill fitting cowboy chaps like he is auditioning for the Village People, all while we in Texas suffer.
Yep. Rick Perry is our macho, macho, man.
