We didn't do enough to alert voters about the Loon LaRouche candidate running for Congress in CD22 calling for the impeachment of President Obama. Then we whined when the non-Democratic candidate won in the Democratic primary. The runoffs for Harris County Judicial races are around the corner and we have yet another opportunity to get LaRouched.
Lee Arrellano vs. Bob Thomas. Lee's dedication to the Democratic party and his experience for a Civil Court, documented on his website, is without question. Bob Thomas is not a Democrat. He voted in the Democratic primary in 1992 and again in 2008. Other than that, he has voted in the Republican primary. Bob Thomas is a Republican running in a Democratic primary. I would contact Bob, but his website has no contact information.
Tanner Garth vs. Jim Peacock. Tanner is another well established Democrat and without question should get the nod for this Judicial race. Peacock on the other hand is a Republican. A clear cut Republican. He has voted in the Republican primary since records have been kept. He is also a Republican running in a Democratic primary. To his credit, he claims he has seen the light which is good, but until he sees the light for the next four years and contributes to the Democratic Party, and supports the Democratic Party, and votes in the Democratic Party's primary, he should wait for his chance to represent the Democratic Party.
Democrats in CD22 got LaRouched and embarrassed in their primary allowing a non-Democrat to represent them in the Congressional race. Democratic voters in Harris County should learn from our mistakes and elect Democrats in our Democratic primary runoff.
Or else quit your damn whining.

I spoke to both these guys last night and they swear up and down that they're good Democrats. Peacock claims that he has been a high dollar Democratic donor for the last 10 years. Peacock went on to say that he voted in the republican primary only in an effort to make the republican ticket weaker and always voted Democratic in the general. I don't know how to confirm any of this but IF they are going around telling bold face lies to democratic clubs that is a bit disconcerting.
Bullshit. Peacock has voted in the republican primary since 1992 according to voting records.
He is a republican. He HAS been going around claiming to be a Democrat.
He does not deserve the nomination.
If Peacock is a Republican, why has he given to so many high-profile Dems over the years?
I actually know Jim-- not a close friend but I know him and I'm a loyal Dem. He may have voted in Rep primaries but he's a plaintiff's lawyer primarily trucking and med mal. He's been one for a long time. He really has a sympathy for the same causes we Dems do. He contributes to Dems. And he's a heck of a lawyer.
