On one note which I think was still a bit sour, Jarvis claims Lee went against the wishes of his constituents by endorsing Hillary Clinton for President. Nothing like opening healed wounds with a bucket of rock salt. This shouldn't be a campaign issue.
I truly believed Jarvis saw an opportunity because of Lee's support of Hillary in the 2008 primary. Personally, I found it admirable that SJL stood by and endorsed someone who had worked hard her entire life for the Democratic party and the Black community instead of going with the sentimental choice. At the time she probably thought, like many of us did, that Hillary was much more experienced than Obama but that is no longer up for debate. We lost that fight, but won the war with Obama elected as our President. So much for Jarvis attempting to capitalize on this because the President has endorsed Lee for reelection. Maybe the picture of Jarvis was with a cutout of the President and not really the President. Jackson deserves to be reelected. And if Jarvis's intent was to make Lee work for her position, then job well done.
