Good for the Mayor!
After hearing and reading about the shredding of documents by Metro, I thought either a criminal or independent investigation of Metro was warranted. Most of the Metro board was appointed by...anyone, anyone?
Former Houston mayor and future former gubernatorial candidate Bill White.
And Mayor Annise Parke is calling for a criminal investigation of Metro which is the point of the post.
John, I realize this might come as a shock to you, (it is a shock to me as well) but on this point I agree with you. Until the METRO board is made elected instead of appointed and is therefore answerable to the voting public, this sort of abuse will continue. I have been saying this for quite some time.
