BREAKING: Alberto Gonzales to Lead Texas Tech in the Alamo Bowl

Lubbock Texas. Former Attorney General of the United States and  professor at Texas Tech University has been chosen to take over the coaching position of Mike Leach for the football team's Alamo Bowl appearance.
Effective immediately Alberto Gonzales will be reassigned to the position of Head Coach of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Gonzales leaves a highly paid and prestigious position of Professor of Ethics in Government.
When asked to comment on who the Raiders would be playing in the Alamo Bowl on Jan 2, Gonzales responded with "I don't recall". When asked when he was informed of the transfer, Gonzales again responded with "I don't recall".

Gonzales was scheduled for a press conference earlier in the day, but  was unable to recall the time of the conference and eventually missed it. The Alamo Bowl kickoff is sometime on Saturday.

I find it interesting, John, that you have nothing to say about Texas Tech firing Leach because he availed himself of his Seventh Amendment rights to access the courts. I guess you don't really believe in that cause after all, do you, if it does not serve your greater political goals.

WTF are you talking about?

Tech fired leach for "insubordination" because he sought a TRO to be reinstated in his job so that the university could not weasel out of paying him the bonus he was contractually due for having been the coach in a bowl game. Indeed, they informed him of his termination outside the courtroom doors so as to get the hearing canceled. Clear example of a public employer violating an employees rights under the Seventh Amendment.

If you are going to comment on a story, you ought to at least be aware of what is going on. Even an Aggie ought to be smart enough to know that.

Especially since you have set yourself up as the champion of citizens' rights to access the courts for a redress of grievances.

That is all very good information, but it wasn't the point of the post.
