back here. Look for Gene to back pedal out of this endorsement faster than a republican getting caught at a hooker convention with a bag full of condoms.
Locke, who sought the endorsement from Hotze once he realized that his black/brown coalition wasn't working out as he thought it would, had this to say:
"I am screwed. The bloggers are going to tear me a new one on this." stated Locke. His campaign manager was more direct "*&^% Locke! I am the one that is screwed. Locke will just keep charging $640/hour after he loses. How will I ever recover from this screw up?"
Well, that isn't exactly what they said, but it is probably what they are thinking at this moment wondering why they asked for the endorsement and then complaining about it once they got it. And yes, bloggers are going to rip him on this.
And he deserves it.

You give Locke too much credit. He hasn't responded backing away from it. How can he? He asked for Hotze's endorsement. At this point, the only appropriate response is, "thanks."
