Canada, Great Britain, France, the Scandinavian countries and other advanced western nations provide health care for ALL their citizens, and the USA should do likewise, even if it costs us money in the form of additional taxes. The great right wing Conservative block in the USA, those stalwart Christians, are spreading lies about the proposed health care reform agenda and the ill informed are buying their spiel. Considering the stand of the CONSERVATIVE RIGHT with regard to health care reform, one has wonder what their TRUE ethical values are in this struggle-- Is it BIG MONEY FOR THE EXECUTIVES OF INSURANCE AND DRUG COMPANIES or is it let the poor and sick fend for themselves BECAUSE THEY DO NOT DESERVE HEALTH CARE? For those who love “for profit” insurance companies and like good novels, I recommend “The Rainmaker” by John Grisham.
